The RMI Center for Wine Economics undertakes and facilitates research and education about the economics of the production and consumption of wine grapes and wine in California and around the world.

The Center for Wine Economics focuses on economic developments in the domestic and international markets for wine and their implications for competitiveness of the wine industry in California and the United States.

The Center emphasizes applied research but is engaged in teaching and outreach activities related to its theme of wine economics.
